Prep Video 1: ATC & Matching ART TILES

Good Evening To All....this is my 1st round of pictures that will showcase my process on creating my 1st ATC (Artist Trading Card) and a set of 3 Art Tiles. I'm participating in Turquesadot's Challenge on YouTube as she celebrates earning 300 subscribers...CONGRATS EVY! So when she reached out to me asking if I'd join her challenge I became super excited as I've never done these before and I've been dying to try out my new stamps, Gesso, and some Glossy Accents! Randomness....Non-Crafty Post...Read & Enjoy

I'm looking outside and hearing the rain fall and the cars pass by at like 100mph....DUDE MAN, SLOWWWWWWW DOWNNNNNNN! On days like this I like to just nap and rest. I've been through alot it seems and can't sleep very well at night. Actually, come to think about it I don't sleep regardless so somehow by closing my eyes for a bit I tend to wake up a bit more rested and relaxed....ready for round two you could say, right! My 9yr old son, Nathaniel, doesn't come home for another 3 hours....it's 1:00pm EST right now. And I guess I can use these next 2-3 hours to do many things....some laundry, clean up the living room and my crafting area, the wonderful morning mess of the kitchen, etc.... But right now...at this very second my pillow and my warm blankets, along with the sound of the rain falling seem to be a much better choice. See, I told you I like to talk and in this case this is one of those random blog sessions. How wonderful it is to express myself and know that someone will read this and perhaps take note and follow me....here's to a new world of blogging and more random thoughts. You know, not every post will be a crafty one...and not every post will be randomness. But I can compromise on both and I like it so here's to more blogging and hopefully the rain will keep falling....have a good afternoon ladies and gents....

My Daily Check-In...

Good Morning Ladies & Gents....it's a typical New England Fall day here in Massachusetts....grey skies, damp, misty morning....Grrrrrrrrrrr....where's my SUNSHINE???? So today I am finishing up the last(one left!) of my Vintage Romance Postcards for my friend, Ronisuescrapper on YouTube and then the 3 boxes will be mailed out this weekend. You'd think as the host of this swap I'd be the 1st one done but that didn't happen....OPPS! What can I say....things happen and I am very grateful for these ladies....BeadyBomBom1, Caliscrapper1, and Ronisuescrapper. They've been waiting patiently for their postcards so THANK YOU GIRLS! YOUR PATIENCE IS A BLESSING TO ME! And then I'm off to start my ATC and 3 Art Tiles for Turquesadot's (Evy) Challenge, which I've never done before so let's see how that goes. Of course I'll post pictures as I go along so I can show you all my progress. I really like blogging...it lets' me check in with everyone on a daily basis without having to post a video, which is helpful and timesaving. I LOVE posting videos on YouTube but doing a video takes time and blogging takes a few minutes so I look forward to doing this alot more often then I thought. Well, I hope everyone's day goes well....it's 10:17am EST, so it's still coffee time for me. Well anytime of the day is coffee time for me....YOU NEED NO REASON AT ALL TO MAKE A FRESH POT OF COFFEE...and if you're lucky while you're brewing it, a friend will stop by and you both can share....YUMMY! Don't forget to try Bailey's French Vanilla coffee creamer...it's non-alcoholic (of course...wink wink) and it's super creamy and sweet! You'll love it and like me you'll be hooked once you've tasted it! Okay, I think I'm done blogging and babbling...but I've been told that you all love my babbling so I guess I'll never stop babbling...LOL! My Handmade Flowers

Hello again ladies....what a wonderful way to start blogging....WITH FLOWERS RIGHT! Here is an assortment of paper & fabric flowers....more paper though....for you to all look through and tell me what you think! If you're coming over to visit me from the wonderful world of YouTube, then you've probably seen these before. Either way, I love to create flowers with all my paper punches and Cricut Cartridges. Nine times outta ten though I mostly use the EK Success large & medium Retro Flower Punch combo and I can't seem to get enough out of those two...it's like an obession!!! So I hope you all like them and again....leave me your comments and suggestions. When it comes to making flowers, suggestions, ideas, and opinions really do matter because it's my number one favorite item to make....I NEVER TIRE OF MAKING FLOWERS! Thanks again for looking.....

Handmade Altered Postcards

Here are just some of the latest projects I've been working on....aren't they beautiful! These handmade, vintage-like postcards were all part of a SWAP that I hosted on my YouTube Channel....TealBluCrafter. I titled the SWAP "Vintage Romance" and a total of 6-10 ladies participated and it turned out wonderful. Again, these images are just a few samples of the 15 postcards I altered....very time consuming to say the least! As I continue to grow more comfortable with my blog I will post so much more.....and I know you'll love it! Again, please comment and let me know what you think.....Until soon.....
